I began as a co-op student and was hired after my placement. Early responsibilities included traffic coordination (editing and maintaining daily logs, timing shows, and handling invoices).
Over the years my role expanded into production. I produced long-form programs including The Beautiful Ones, Maximized Living, Perspectives, and Conversations, and supported share-a-thons through live production and audience engagement.
I also spent time on-air, including hosting a mid-morning show and serving as interim morning show host for London in 2021.
From 2021 to 2023 I served as the copywriter for all three stations, writing the majority of commercials heard across our stations in South-Western Ontario.
Current focus
Today my work is primarily production-based. I handle ongoing production for select programming and work closely with one primary client.
