Matt’s Music was a radio show and accompanying website focused on Christian rock and alternative music. The show aired on Faith 999 from December 2017 to June 2022.
I handled all aspects of the project, including producing the weekly show with an emphasis on Canadian content, writing articles and in-depth features, researching and interviewing artists, and running promotional campaigns and giveaways. I also managed the website and social channels, creating regular content that kept listeners informed and engaged within a niche genre.
The show reached listeners well beyond Canada, with positive feedback and emails coming in from across the United States and as far away as Australia. The experience strengthened my skills in content creation, long-form writing, interview preparation, audience engagement, and building relationships with artists and industry contacts.
